The National Chairman of the United Front Party (UFP), Dr. Agyenim Boateng, popularly known as Gyataba, has explained that his party is working seriously to unseat the incumbent government led by Nana Akufo-Addo in 2020 elections.

The National Chairman of (UFP), who doubles as the founder of the party, made this known at the Garden City Television in Kumasi, a subsidiary of Ghana Broadcasting Corporation (GBC), during its newspaper review segment, hosted by Emmanuel Assel.
Dr. Boateng, who was also the flagbearer of the UFP in 2016, called on the government to stop the blame game and fix the challenges and not do propaganda about the state of the economy.
He added that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) government campaign promises made to Ghanaians are test case to them and if they deliver or not Ghanaians will assess them come 2020 general elections.
When we were with the NPP during former President John Agyekum Kufuor’s regime, the party was respected and held in high esteem and this glory had been taken away from NPP by former President John Mahama and I challenge Nana Addo to work to restore NPP’s dignity devoid of the current indiscipline, he said.
Dr. Boateng also called on the Ashanti Regional Minister to stop the harassment of potential investors, and cited the seizure of Mr. Ibrahim Mahama’s company equipment at Nyinahin in the Atwima Mponua District in the Ashanti Region recently over documentation issues.
