…For His Quick Response To Metro’s Problems
The paramount Chief of Tema, Dr. Nii Adjei Kraku II, and Assembly members in the Tema Metropolis yesterday doffed their hats off to the Tema Mayor, Felix Mensah Nii Annang-La, for his quick response to emergency situations in the metropolis.
Members of the Tema Traditional Council (TTC) were full of praise for the MCE when he paid a courtesy call on the Tema Mantse for his prayers and support in his palace at Tema Manhean.
“When Tema Manhean became pregnant with tensions over the killing of a suspected armed robber by the police recently, you quickly managed to water down the problem and we were blissfully happy for that, I would advise you to marry the bible and be loyal to President Akufo-Addo,” Tema Mantse said.
The Mayor, on his part, thanked the Tema Mantse for his fatherly advice and promised to work together with the chiefs and people of Tema and other stakeholders to ensure that the right things are done.
“I believe in the theory that, in addition to education, we need good character, strong moral and spiritual discipline, I am a practicing Christian and will continue to marry the bible because the principles of God’s word are there to guide us,” The Mayor said.
Earlier, the Assembly member for Halcrow Electoral Area phoned the Mayor to inform him of how a flood had displaced residents of BBC at Community Two and he quickly came over to reason out solution to the problem.
Some assembly members who had moved from their respective electoral areas to show solidarity to the flood victims were also full of praise for the Mayor because of his quick intervention by bringing an excavator to ameliorate the situation.
