Stop campaigning for ECOWAS chair

– Murtala tells Nana Addo

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo must stop perambulating African countries campaigning and begging for ECOWAS Chairmanship and stay home to fight the looming dangers he and his NPP have caused Ghanaians, the former Deputy Minister of Information, Mr. Ibrahim Murtala Mohammed, has charged.

The former Deputy Minister also revealed that President Akufo-Addo, by this campaign, is wasting state funds for important state projects and security purses, to chase for the ECOWAS chair that normally comes to leaders based on key considerations.

According to the former Nantong MP, the country, under Nana Addo as President, is facing lots of ongoing serious security challenges caused by various ‘vigilante groups’ then candidate Nana Akufo-Addo and NPP formed with the aim to plunge Ghana into chaotic situation in case they did not win the 2016 general elections.

He said the then opposition New Patriotic Party described these vigilante groups across the country as the party security, with the excuse that they (NPP) have lost confidence in the state security for their bad intent.

He alleged the NPP imported mercenaries from South Africa and Serbia to train these vigilante groups on how to handle various weapons in the bid to fight; and they are now terrorist groups found everywhere in the country terrorizing government workers in their offices.

Speaking on an Accra-based radio station, Radio Gold programme, ‘Alhaji and Alhaji’ last Saturday, he noted that since Nana Akufo-Addo led NPP took over leadership of this country peacefully from the NDC administration, the country is facing serious impunity and disregard for rule of law.

The ruling NPP terrorist groups across the country include Invisible Forces, Greater Accra; Delta Force, Ashanti Region; Brong Ahafo Region, Terminator -1 Forces; Kandaha Forces, Northern Region; Western Region, Mission Impossible Forces; Central Region, 007 Forces.

Others are Volta Region, Rambo Babies; Upper East Region, Bolga Bulldogs; Upper West Region, Cyborg Forces/Terminator -2; and Eastern Region, Akanfo Kwaebibriem Forces.

It was noted that these terrorist groups formed by the ruling NPP were allegedly aimed at destabilizing Ghana if they (NPP) had not won the 2016 presidential and parliamentary elections.

Hon. Murtala Mohammed scolded the Nana Addo-led NPP government, saying President Akufo-Addo is gradually throwing Ghana into security threat because the country is facing serious security challenges due to the activities of NPP terrorist groups scattered across the country currently carrying out brutalities and threatening civil servants.

It appears whilst the Akufo-Addo administration is unlawfully chasing out government workers on one side, his terrorist groups are also going after others, which was allegedly resulted in the death of about 19 young and innocent students in Kintampo, in the Eastern Region.
