Ghanaians have been challenged to make the culture of saving an integral part of their everyday life, no matter how little one’s income may be, as this is the surest way one can make a big dream come true.
The challenge was thrown by the Head of Business Service Development of Goldenlink Savings & Loans Limited, Madam Renee Boadi Asamoah, in an interview with journalists, after a short ceremony to open the third branch of the Golden Link Savings and Loans Limited in Adum, Kumasi.
The financial institution has small and medium scale enterprise development as its major target, but has tailor-made products for anyone who wants to transact business with them, including salary workers.
Madam Renee Asamoah noted that the only way one could guarantee survival tomorrow is by saving today and, therefore, urged the public to take advantage of Golden Link products to secure a better future.
She mentioned Glico as the mother company of the institution, with license from the Bank of Ghana, with some assurances to the people that transacting business with them could be the safest.
According to her, Goldenlink operates online banking and issues electronic cards for withdrawal at any of their branches, as well as any branch which deals with electronic banking.
Plans are far advanced, she said, to spread the tentacles of the bank by opening more new branches soon.
