Ghanaian High life musician, Ethel Esi Eshun, popularly known in showbiz as eShun, was a delight to watch at the sixth edition of the Vodafone African Legends Night organized by Global Media alliance as she treated Patrons to an awesome performance on Saturday 30th, at the State House Banquet Hall.
eShun who was wearing a top Ghanaian Fashion Designer Bri Wireduah Woodin Version of a white feather trimmed Red Riding Hood dress over skinny pants and matching heels invited two patrons, a man and woman, on stage to do the high life dance as part of her craft.
eShun is undoubtedly one of Ghana’s finest when it comes to stage performance because her craft is always unmatched. She is in a league of her own. Patrons always fall in love with her performance due to her dexterity and the energy she puts into it.
Her performance last Saturday seems to have raised the bar a notch higher putting her on the list of top ten Ghanaian live band performers. Her performance with Ackah Blay’s band was simply classic! Everything on the night: her voice, sound, costume, communication with the audience worked perfectly for her and she was just a delight to watch.
The outstanding singer, eShun, who was the only young female artiste who performed with African legends, like Daddy Lumba, Kanda Bongoman and Amakye Dedem clearly placed her as the Future Legend gave Patrons value for their money.
Performing at the African Legends Night for the second time, eShun was at her usual best when she got on stage to perform ‘Simple as ABC’ and ‘Meye’. After her performance, she later joined Ackah Blay as they storm the auditorium with the song ‘take away’. She left the audience up-standing with a scream for more of her performance.
Talking to Ackah Blay after the event, he said, “eShun is an amazing performer and I am happy to have had an opportunity to perform with her.”
“That’s was a beautiful performance,” said Peace 104.3 FM Morning Show Host Chairman General Kwami Sefa Kayi, the MC for the event. Dj Abui who is the Manager of Ackah Blay said, “She was absolutely amazing. I got mad respect for eShun. Good Work!”
The African Legends Night headlined by the Congolese Super Star Kanda Bongoman also saw electrifying and energetic performance from high life legends Charles Kwadwo Fosu, affectionately called Daddy Lumba, who played with the Minor Riddim band owned by the legend Fred Kyei Mensah and the last performer on the night Amakye Dede, who came on stage with his band.
The beautiful songstress is set to release a new song of her upcoming album titled ‘Someone Love Me’ on the 5th of October 2017 featuring FlowKing Stone, produced by Willis Beatz.
