East Ayawaso NDC Retains Old Executives


The National Democratic Congress (NDC) Delegates Conference in East Ayawaso Constituency in the Greater Accra Region have re-elected about two-thirds (2/3) of the old Executives to continue with their good works.
Positions such as Treasurer and Deputy Treasurer were unopposed; in a related development, some of the old executives moved a step forward to take up new positions – Youth steering committee member moved to Deputy Treasurer position; from Deputy Youth to Youth Organiser and from Youth Organiser to Organiser positions to help change and improve party organisation and to transform the youth front party.
In most of the positions where the contest was stiff and fiese, most of these old executives won with slim margins whilst others won with landslide. In an interview with Therepublicnewsonline.com/GhanaNewsOnline.com.gh, former Ambassador to China, Ambassador Horace Ankrah, who on behalf of the NEC, supervised the election, was impressed with the peaceful national.
He confessed the election was fiece and very closed, noting that old executives did not find it easy, hence, the close margins in all results the Electoral Commission called.
Ambassador Horace commended both the winners and those who could not win for their fiece fight in their quest to lead also the party in the constituency. Adding that it is the NDC that won, he urged the newly elected executives to immediately invite the losers and unite with them to ensure power is snatch in 2020 elections.
Other Regional Executive at the Delegates Conference were former Greater Accra Regional Minister, Hon Nii Djangmah Vanderpuyeh, supervisor and a member of NDC Communication team, Adel Umar Ibrahim (aspiring deputy youth organiser of the party) both supported the Ambassador Horace Ankrah to perform his supervising duty.
The newly elected East Ayawaso Constituency last Saturday, June 23, 2018 are Ollabode Williams, Chairman; Issah Fuseini (Baba Winger), Vice Chairman; General Secretary, Mohammed Barani; Abdul Kadir Giwah Ardy, Deputy General Secretary; Yussif Kamaludeen Kumbejoh Organiser; Issaka Abu (Yaaman), Deputy Organiser; Communication Officer, Shaibu Abdulai (aka Shaggy); Deputy Communication Officer, Bashiru Mohammed; Mrs. Mariama Aminu Ibrahim, Youth Orgainiser; Ahmed Abdulai (aka. Angar), Deputy Youth Organiser; Treasurer, Wahab Amui Futa; Deputy Treasurer, Abdul Rauf Thia Yini; Women’s Organiser, Fati Mohammed Kande; Deputy Women’s Organiser,
Halimatu Alimatu Sadia Sulley;
The other eight (8) executive members include
Hassana Ahmed; Abdul Majid Logoh; Mansuru Yussif; Abu Zaid Mohammed; Ashmiyu Abdulai Tondi; Black Joe Ahmed Abubakar; Is-haq Ibrahim Dangaladima and Ruth Ackun.
