East Ayawaso NDC NNew Executives take Office

The former Ghana’s Ambassador (Amb) to China, Mr. Horace Nii Ayi Ankrah has on behalf  of National and Greater Accra Regional Executives of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) sworn-in the newly Elected Constituency Executives of the East Ayawaso.
In a remarks, Mr Ankrah urged the Executives and party members to help ensure the NDC wins massively at the 2020 polls to return the party to power. The former Ambassador said he  was impressed about  the enthusiasm of party members, especially the women in the activities of the party.

He expressed the view that women are behind all winning spree that goes on in the area.

Mr Ankrah commended the women and urged them to keep on assisting the men for the NDC to continually retain the seat and to return the party to power in 2021.
On his part, for the Member of Parliament (MP), Alhaji Mahama Toure appealed to the aspirants who could not win to put the election behind them and help the newly elected Executives to return the NDC to power.
He also charged the sworn-in executives, which Olabode Williams chairs, to eschew “arrogance” and to show good leadership to entice everybody to show willingness to come out to work for the NDC more than before into 2020.
The Electoral Committee, led by Alhaji Razark Aliu, Cadre Fred, member and Ali Issah Wonder, Secretary, hinted the gathering that they had tough time ran up to the delegates conference in the area, due to functionaries that came up, but they were able to curtail them and the conference was successful.
Following this, the NDC Greater Accra Regional Chairman, Mr. Joseph Cobena Ade Cocker also added his voice, calling on the Constituency Executives to immediately patch up with the losers for the sake of the party ahead of election 2020, because they are needed in all party activities in the constituent.
The swearing-in threw all the eighty-four (84) branches in the area; various groups; some representations of NDC Flag-bearer hopefuls; party followers from other constituencies and people from walks of life that have the NDC at heart thronged to witness the magnificent ceremony.
Other dignitaries at the ceremony were, Victor Quashie Adonu, NDC Regional Secretary; Alhaji Yahaya Kundows, Regional Treasurer; Deputy Regional Organiser, Ofotsu; Nii William Vinyo, from Adjein Kotoku amongst others.
