Bawumia, You’re Still Lying – Minority

…As Nursing Forms Sold At GH100 Long Ago

The Minority in Parliament has expressed shock that Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has not yet recovered from the politics of deceit, which unfortunately won them power in election 2016.

According to the Minority, Vice President Bawumia continued with the bunch of lies this Tuesday that the Akufo-Addo-led New Patriotic Party (NPP) government has reduced the price of the Nursing training application forms from GH₵160 to GH₵100 among many others in 100 days.

Meanwhile, the reduction in the cost of this application forms rather started in early 2016.

A credible document of the price of the forms available to this paper also indicated that the forms sold at GH₵100 started in 2016.

The Hon. Deputy Minority Leader, Mr. James Klutse Avedzi, addressing the media on Tuesday, this week, further exposed the NPP’s deceit, which includes “absolutely free Senior High School education for all JHS graduates starting from September, this year; the significant reduction of electricity and water tariffs; immediate reduction of fuel prices by abolishing the Energy Sector Levies; payment of all contractors owed within the first 100 days of this government.”

But Ghanaians are witnesses to these huge lies, as the much noise about the electricity tariffs has not been reduced, and the transport fares rather being increased by 15%, among others, the Minority stated.

Also, it is clear there is nothing like full restoration and payment of nursing and teacher trainee allowances (an estimated GHc637.2 million per annum) for the 2017 fiscal year without compromising gains made in increasing enrolment since 2013 among others.
