Election 2020: NDC Women seeks God’s intervention for victory

The Greater Accra Regional Women’s Wing of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has held inter-denominational prayer sessions for the party, calling on God to intervene to ensure victory in the December 7 polls.

Madam Felicia Bortey, the Regional Women’s Organizer who organised the prayer session said it is very important for the NDC to pull its spiritual powers together and pray without ceasing to ensure that the party wins the upcoming Parliamentary and Presidential elections

According to her, the party is not taking its preparations for granted despite the “Poor administration of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) government.

The prayer session was attended by regional and constituency women organizers and supporters of the NDC in the region.

Also present at the NDC were Pastor Joseph Jackson and Nelson Kojo Cudjoe of Dominion Intercession Ministry at Nungua, Accra.

Madam Bortey, popularly known known as ” Mama Feli” noted that God has interceded to save many people in times of difficulties and was convinced that a similar thing is going to happen on December 7, where the people of Ghana would be salvaged by the NDC through the power of God.

She added that the NPP had exploited and subjected Ghanaians to misery and indignity and occasioned by greed, wickedness, and outright incompetence and must be voted out of power.

Pastor Joseph Jacson, Residence Pastor with Power FM, led the NDC women with intercession prayers and they prayed to God to intervene and bring former President John Mahama, the party’s Presidential Candidate to power to redeem Ghanaians from the economic bondage that would put smiles on the faces of the people.

“This battle is not only physical but spiritual, the opponents have gone to so many place to block the chances of NDC. But with prayer, their plans will be become useless and foolish, she said.

Citing several Bible versions, Pastor Jacson said God will speak for the nation and that no matter what the NPP do, they could not usurp the power of God, the Will of Ghanaians on December 7, 2020 elections.

Pastor Nelson Kojo Cudjoe of Dominion Intercession Ministry said he know and believed that the Lord is going to fight the battle for NDC and nothing would stop it.

He urged NDC members across the country to pray for the Flagbearer and the party at times.
