Hon. Emmanuel Kwasi Bedzrah, Member of Parliament for Ho West, has been inducted into office as Board Member of the Global Organization of Parliamentarians Against Corruption (GOPAC).
According to a statement from the office of the Legislator issued on Tuesday, December 10, 2019, Mr Bedzrah was inducted at the GOPQC 7th Global Conference held in Qatar on the 9th and 10th of December 2019.
He was recently appointed to serve on the GOPAC Board at the last Board Meeting of African Parliamentarians Network Against Corruption (APNAC) held on March 1, 2019, in Nairobi, Kenya.
The statement said GOPAC is an international alliance of legislators, working together to combat corruption, strengthen democracy, and uphold the rule of law across the globe.
Mr Bedzrah who is Ranking Member of Works and Housing select Committee of Ghana’s parliament has led members of Ghana parliament to help fight corruption menace in Africa and beyond.
He has on several occasion expressed concerns about the effect of corruption on nations development and vowed to help reduce the canker if not end on the Africa continent.
