The Sokode-Ho and University of Health and Allied Science (UHAS) Bypass roads and the Eastern Corridor road from Peki to Harve and to Hohoe to Oti region have been abandoned.
President Akufo Addo in 2017 promised to complete the roads by end if 2018, but up till date no contractor is seen on site.
The Contractors that commenced works on the project sites during the previous government of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) have been asked to stop work.
The Akufo Addo government claimed it was conducting forensic audit for value for money on the contracts but since then the condition of the roads have deteriorated, making them inaccessible by drivers and other commuters.
