A businessman, Joseph Agbeko Kpogo has called on delegates and constituents of Anlo to give him a chance to bring transformation to the Constituency.
The businessman who has been tipped as the best suitable to replace Hon. Clement Kofi Humado, made the call after he has filed his nomination forms to contest for the parliamentary seat on the ticket of National Democratic Congress(NDC).
Mr Kpogo voluntary intervention for the constituents over the years even before he expressed interest for the parliamentary seat attracted many constituents.
He is in the race with four other persons for the NDC upcoming primaries slated for August 24, 2019.
Mr Kpogo told THE REPUBLIC after filing his nomination that, his reason for entering into the parliamentary race is to succeed Kofi Humado to continue with policies and programmes to transform the constituency.
The young and affable businessman said many of the communities are living in abject poverty and his aim is to help improve education, health and security.
While urging the delegates to defy financial inducement and vile propaganda against him, Mr Agbeko promised to conduct a clean campaign devoid of name-calling, character assassination and personal attacks.
He further urged delegates to endorse him at the August 24, primaries to bring real development and transformation to Anlo constituency.

PROFILE OF MR.JOSEPH AGBEKO KPOGO
Joe Agbeko Kpogo hails from Tegbi and Woe all within the Anlo traditional area.
Joe, as he is affectionately known, has his Basic education at Woe and later proceeded to Accra, the capital city of Ghana where he had his Secondary education at the Nungua Secondary school in Accra.
After secondary school, Joe had an admission at the Accra Polytechnic now Accra Technical University where he obtained a Diploma in Accounting.
Joe also had the opportunity to study at the MPDI and obtained a certificate in Oil&Gas.
Currently, Joe is pursuing a Degree course in Banking and Finance at the Africa University College of Communication.
Politically, Joe is a grassroots member of the National Democratic Congress ( NDC) and is a member of Woe-Afedome Branch.
As a businessman, Joe uses his business experience to assist many deprived communities within the constituency on developmental needs.
He also played a voluntary role in helping many of the parliamentarians and politicians in general.
From 2010 till now, he has been assisting some Members of Parliament to improve upon development issues in their constituencies.
Besides politics, Joe plays a significant role in the development agenda of Anlo and has been a Member of the Hogbe planning committee.
He is also the chairman of Anlo United Union Foundation, an association which seeks to bring development in the Anlo Constituency.
Joe is also an entrepreneur and is the Chief Executive Officer of Big Joe Press in Accra.
Having gained a lot of experience in both politics and business field, Joe decided to let many of the upcoming youth benefits from his knowledge and decided to aspire for the Anlo parliamentary seat to lead the NDC into the 2020 general elections.
His vision is to transform the Anlo constituency, focusing on education, agriculture, health, security as well as women and youth empowerment.
He has the belief that the Anlo constituency deserves better development.
