Member of Parliament, MP for the Ayawaso North Constituency, Yussif Jajah has indicated his constituency poised to maximise its votes in 2020 elections.
According to him, the current economic hardship in Ghana is one of the many reasons they are going to increase votes for the NDC and former President John Mahama to rescue Ghanaians from the current economic depression.
In an interview with The Republic during the visitation of the former President John Dramani Mahama at Nima/Maamobi, a suburb of Accra, the MP hinted the constituency is doing everything in the area to ensure their votes target is achieved.
He also disclosed the East Ayawaso Constituency has similar agenda and nothing can stop the two sister-constituencies from collaborating to increase their voting patterns to catapult NDC/JM to the Jubilee house in 2021.
Hon. Jajah led Mahama to inspect an abandoned storm drain the NDC government had started between the two constituencies. JM promised to complete it when Inshaa Allah he (JM) wins 2020 elections, he said.
He said the storm drain is one of the worrying problems confronting the people in the Ayawaso East and North, and the work which was about 55% complete, but immediately Nana Akufo-Addo assumed power he abandoned the project.
The Ayawaso North lawmaker said when it rains the place gets flooded but when the project is completed the people would be reliefed.
He further indicated that “the people of Ayawaso East and Aywaso North are yearning for the return of former President John Dramani Mahama.
