The National chief Imam, Alhaji Osman Nuhu Sheribuktu has hailed Dr. Mustapha Ahmed, former Member of Parliament for Ayawaso North Constituency for donating new Mosque in the area.
In addition, it was revealed during the Commissioning of the newly constructed Mosque cum Arabic School that the Chief Imam is making a frantic effort to also establish a University college in the Country.
According to Dr. Mustapha Ahmed in an interview with Therepublicnewsonline.com, the school would employ teachers to teach the children Arabic, ICT amongst other subjects and help them solve assignments from their various schools.
The former Member of Parliament (MP) for North Ayawaso and former Minister of State who is also a business ‘tycoon’ indicated he has more for the area; got the support of some white Arabians from countries like Turkey, Libya, Yemen and so on for the Mosque/School to be completed.
He urged the youth and up and coming youg children to take their education seriously alongside the Arabic education to make whole beneficial in the soceity.
The Arabians who want the Islamic studies expanded more in Ghana, pledged more support in developmental related areas where they maybe needed.
They charged a nine (9) member committee charged with the responsibility of the Mosque to maintain the edifice for it to last longer.
They seem to note that a number of Mosques are not worthy to be used due to poor maintenance; therefore, pleading with the Committee to handle the edifice handed to them very well.
The Arabians also requested for the prayers from Ghanaians for Allah to grant them peace, unity and strength for their countries so that whenever they were called upon for assistance they would be able to offer.
The commissioning was largely attended by Imams, chiefs, East Ayawaso MP, Mc Naza Mahama Toure and many others from all walks of life.
