American Coy to  Produce Energy in Oblieman


An American Company, CivTek International Corporation is set to  produce renewable energy at Oblieman, a community in Ga West Municipality of the Greater Accra Region.

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO), of CivTek Company, Mr. Thomas Young, hinted on the plans to start the project on pilot basis before going into large scale production.

Briefing the media on Friday this week, Mr. Young explained that the multimillion dollar project would create direct and indirect jobs for the local people, especially the youth.

According to the CivTek Boss, his specialized company would go into various developmental projects in the area like road construction, housing among many other facilities needed.

He promised to make Ghana the hub where CivTek – Ghana would lead in infrastructure development in Africa.

“Ghana is where CivTek will lead development of a Pan African Infrastructure plan necessary to build CivTek‘s objective for Africa of $20 trillion annual nominal GDP”, he stated.

“….This will create thousands of permanent jobs and place Ghana as the leader of future African economic development”, Young added.

To this effect, the chief of Oblieman who doubles as acting Chief of Abola of GA State, Nii Anumle Oyanka, disclosed that they have lands for any developmental project that would create jobs for the people. “We are ready to support such projects coming to us and more”.
